A message from Ralph Castelli
Ralph A. Castelli, Jr.
If you ask most lawyers why they pursued a career in law, many will tell you it was “to help people.” Yes, it might come as a surprise, but lawyers have feelings too!

While most of our jobs involve facts and figures, processes and procedures, there is an undercurrent of compassion that remains. Sometimes it is more prominent than others. In the past several months, we have been continually reminded of what it means to care about our work and the people it involves.

In May, our firm lost a dear co-worker and friend. Many of you probably spoke to, or met, Era Arnold, a secretary and receptionist at Kemp Klein. She was a special lady and we’ve dedicated a section of the newsletter to her.

This summer also marks the 40th anniversary of Common Ground, an organization that helps people in all types of crisis situations. The Kemp Klein Foundation sponsors Common Ground on a variety of levels so we felt it suitable to tell our clients and friends about the wonderful work of Common Ground.

I am proud to say that our attorneys are always doing great things for their clients. When appropriate, we post these victories on our web site and now, we will print some of them in our newsletter.

Enjoy your summer,
RAC Sig
