Andrew Goldberg, a shareholder in the firm, is also a certified public accountant. For over two decades, he has successfully counseled businesses and families on how to achieve their personal and professional goals and manage their risks. Mr. Goldberg is frequently involved in matters where legal, accounting and business issues intersect.
Mr. Goldberg counsels clients in a variety of business matters, including: business formations, acquisitions and sales, buy-sell agreements, succession planning, and taxation. He also advises clients on contracts as well as general business matters. His client list includes manufacturing and service businesses, medical practices, as well as advertising and marketing companies.
In his estate planning practice, Mr. Goldberg helps clients preserve and transfer wealth, maintain privacy of personal and financial matters, and minimize taxes. He is skilled at identifying and achieving each client’s unique goals, especially where there are special family issues.
Mr. Goldberg Goldberg is an accomplished author and lecturer, often conducting seminars on estate and business planning for accountants, financial planners and other service professionals. He is a frequent guest on radio and television programs discussing business, tax and estate planning issues. A nationally published author, his articles have appeared in Best’s Review, The Corporate Board, Corporate Controller, Michigan Lawyers Weekly, Detroit Free Press and Crain’s Detroit Business. He is also a contributing author to The Institute of Continuing Legal Education’s publication entitled “Advising Closely Held Businesses in Michigan.” He also writes a newsletter for advertising and marketing professionals entitled: ADvice.
