Ray Morrow is a shareholder, director and vice president of Kemp Klein. He has been an attorney with the firm since 1976. During that time he has been lead counsel in a wide variety of civil and criminal cases ranging from complex construction litigation and arbitration to first degree murder and from federal securities law disputes to representing a major television network on libel, slander and first amendment issues.

He has tried trade secrets, non-compete and trademark infringement cases, administrative law matters, handled contract, employment, insurance, environmental, zoning, property and business disputes, as well as construction lien foreclosures, tax protests and personal injury cases.

From 1969 through 1972, Mr. Morrow was a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, assigned to the Portland, Ore., and San Francisco, Calif., field offices.

From 1972 through 1976, he was an assistant prosecuting attorney with the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office. As a senior trial attorney for that office, he successfully prosecuted several highly publicized criminal trials on behalf of the State of Michigan.

Since 1976 Mr. Morrow has been active with various forms of alternative dispute resolution, both as an advocate for clients and as mediator, arbitrator and facilitator. He has been a frequent mediator for the courts in Oakland and Wayne counties and has acted as an arbitrator of disputes both privately and through the American Arbitration Association.

Mr. Morrow maintains an “AV” peer review rating with Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, the highest peer review rating for attorneys. He was also selected for inclusion in the 2006 and 2008 issues of Michigan Super Lawyers magazine featuring the top 5% of attorneys in Michigan.
